Get up, move around, and do a few stretches to give your body a chance to shake off being sedentary. Do this every hour at least for ten minutes of movement. Set an alarm on your smartphone if you need to. Or if you have a fitness tracker that you wear, it will give you gentle reminders to get up and stop sitting for a while. This is absolutely the best kind of routine to get into if you are sitting all day long. Go outside if the weather is good where you are, or go up and down a set of stairs if you can. Any kind of movement that you can do is better than anything you are not doing.
Another way to help lower back hip pain is to commit to a weekly exercise routine. This is recommended at least three to four times per week for at least 30-45 minutes per session. Walking, swimming, and biking are all low impact aerobic workouts that are going to set your body up for less pain. If you throw in some light weight training under the guidance of a personal trainer, you can also increase your muscle strength, which will help you in the long run to prevent sudden lower back pain. Making your body strong will allow it to work better for you with less pain.
